Congrats to Alexie and Jason

Congratulations to my sis, Alexie, and her fiancee Jason on their recent engagement. There was an amazing engagement celebration tonight, I was excited to see everyone, and join in the festivities. Couldn’t have topped off Christmas better. A video of the event… Alexie and Jason from Kyle Hudson on Vimeo. And here’s a few pics..

The Ridge Family comes to Atlanta

DSC_0023

My cousin Alan, and his family, came to Atlanta recently for a visit. We had a great time catching up with them, and playing in the pool, and I snapped some photos as you can imagine. Lee and Alan had a good time playing with Kierstin in the pool, and Katherine and Logan and I...

Butterfly in the Garden

DSC_0135

Yes, it’s been quite a while since I’ve updated the blog. Just under five months to exact. To tell you the truth, there’s been a lot going on over the past few months, and at the same time I think I’ve been out of the cycle of taking photos as well. Within the past few...

Costa Rica – Day 4 – Zip Line and Montezuma – 03/03/10

DSC_0087

Today was a fun adventure. We headed out to Montezuma to do some zip-lines over the valleys in Montezuma. We took 8-10 zip-lines through the forrest before ending up at the waterfalls and hot springs. Spent the day out side in the forrest, enjoying nature and all the sights, before heading to downtown Montezuma. Downtown...

Costa Rica – Day 2 – A surfer, a monkey, and some sunsets – 03/01/10

Had a great day today in our workshop session (taught by Edge of the World Workshops.. check ‘em out.. great guys), and then we headed out to take some pictures. To be honest, I think today was “getting back in the groove day.” I haven’t really shot much since Maui, if anything, and today was...

Costa Rica – Travel Day – 02/28/10

Saturday and Sunday were definitely travel days, and took WAY longer than I expected. After a little bit of confusion with Delta, from Atlanta to Mal Pais was about a 14 hour adventure. Once it began, it was Atlanta to San Jose, San Jose to the Tambor airport, and then an hour trek from Tambor...

Costa Rica Bound

It’s been just shy of a month since my last post. Since Maui it’s been almost one month since I’ve pulled my camera out of the bag. From Puerto Rico in Sept ’09 to Maui in Jan’10 I shot a TON, and think this last month or so has really been a good time to...

Photo of the Day – 01/27/10 – Dreaming of Costa Rica

Since getting back from Maui, I’ve really had to focus a lot on work, getting caught up, and getting personally organized. With this, I’ve settled down taking pictures over the past two weeks, but have had the strong draw to get out and take some new stuff. Funny how hard it tis to switch your...
