Had a great afternoon shooting holiday photos for the Gammon and McCorkle families yesterday afternoon. They are all part of our family which make it a fun shoot and we ended up getting some nice ones out of the day. Here’s a sample of the ones we ended up with.
Last day in Jacksonville, after a great family get-together, we headed out to the playground to let the kids burn out some energy. As we were wrapping up I noticed the sun was setting over the St. John’s River and felt like I should at least partake for a few minutes from a photographic perspective....
Being in Jacksonville for Thanksgiving, I’m getting some time to hang around my second cousin, Lee. He’s an awesome, happy, inquisitive little boy who makes for a great subject if you can catch up to him. I’ll be adding more to this, but here’s a few I’ve gotten so far:
Mamma Jamma and I had fun taking pictures out back behind the house yesterday, and here’s a few that I like. The Japanese Maple tree really lends itself to being a great backdrop.

So I headed out to Starbucks this morning to work a bit, and then I was headed over to B&H Photo Video. Love that store. However after walking what felt like 1000 blocks (to take some pictures along the way) I just missed them as they close early on Fridays (1:00pm). Oh well, better for...
I’m actually going back and getting caught up on a few days of posts. This is the last day I was in Boston, and I headed over to the New England Aquarium. It’s a pretty cool place with a huge massive tank in the middle with a winding staircase that goes all the way up...
Had a lunch meeting near the harbor today and decided to do a quick stroll before I headed back to the office. It’s funny that I felt like my visual “framing” was off today as I felt like I couldn’t see any of the shots that I wanted as I was walking around.
Just got into Boston today and my hotel room wasn’t ready just quite yet. Made for the perfect time to set out for an hour or two and snap a bit of Boston and see what comes out. Got a few interesting ones and one lucky sighting (the owl) that made for a fun photostroll....
Before Erika and I headed out on our photostroll around Krog St, we went to the Majestic Diner off E Ponce DeLeon for breakfast. I asked the waiter there, who I’ve seen a thousand times there during my visit, if he’d be up for me taking his picture. We was up for it, said “Let me get myself together,” adjusted his hair a bit, and struck this pose for a picture that I think is pretty cool.
