Gammon / McCorkle Holiday Photos

Had a great afternoon shooting holiday photos for the Gammon and McCorkle families yesterday afternoon. They are all part of our family which make it a fun shoot and we ended up getting some nice ones out of the day. Here’s a sample of the ones we ended up with.

Photo of the Day – 11/28/09 – “Palette Sky”

Last day in Jacksonville, after a great family get-together, we headed out to the playground to let the kids burn out some energy. As we were wrapping up I noticed the sun was setting over the St. John’s River and felt like I should at least partake for a few minutes from a photographic perspective....

Portraits – 11/26/09 – Lee

Being in Jacksonville for Thanksgiving, I’m getting some time to hang around my second cousin, Lee. He’s an awesome, happy, inquisitive little boy who makes for a great subject if you can catch up to him. I’ll be adding more to this, but here’s a few I’ve gotten so far:

Portraits – 11/21/09 – Nanny

Mamma Jamma and I had fun taking pictures out back behind the house yesterday, and here’s a few that I like. The Japanese Maple tree really lends itself to being a great backdrop.

New York – 11/15/09 – Day 4

So I slacked off yesterday from taking pictures, but this post should make up for it. After whittling down from 450 pictures to 400, then narrowing down to the top 60-75 that I liked, I ended up with the pictures for this post. 48 pictures. There are a few in here that have two different...

New York – 11/13/09 – Day 2

So I headed out to Starbucks this morning to work a bit, and then I was headed over to B&H Photo Video. Love that store. However after walking what felt like 1000 blocks (to take some pictures along the way) I just missed them as they close early on Fridays (1:00pm). Oh well, better for...

Boston – 11/12/09 – Day 4

I’m actually going back and getting caught up on a few days of posts. This is the last day I was in Boston, and I headed over to the New England Aquarium. It’s a pretty cool place with a huge massive tank in the middle with a winding staircase that goes all the way up...

Boston – 11/09/09 – Day 2

Had a lunch meeting near the harbor today and decided to do a quick stroll before I headed back to the office. It’s funny that I felt like my visual “framing” was off today as I felt like I couldn’t see any of the shots that I wanted as I was walking around.

Boston – 11/08/09 – Day 1

Just got into Boston today and my hotel room wasn’t ready just quite yet. Made for the perfect time to set out for an hour or two and snap a bit of Boston and see what comes out. Got a few interesting ones and one lucky sighting (the owl) that made for a fun photostroll....

Portraits – 11/07/09 – The Majestic Waiter

Before Erika and I headed out on our photostroll around Krog St, we went to the Majestic Diner off E Ponce DeLeon for breakfast. I asked the waiter there, who I’ve seen a thousand times there during my visit, if he’d be up for me taking his picture. We was up for it, said “Let me get myself together,” adjusted his hair a bit, and struck this pose for a picture that I think is pretty cool.

Photostroll – 11/07/09 – Krog St.

Erika and I headed down into the city, near Krog St and the Krog St bridge today to take some pics. Here’s a few that I like from our day out in the city: (Side note: I split the pictures into two posts. Erika was nice enough to let me snap some pics of her...
