Headed up the coast this weekend for a few shots around Malibu and specifically at Point Dume (google map link). Amazing time playing on the coast and some amazingly beautiful scenery along the way.
Took the day and went down to La Jolla for some relaxation and to see what I could find in the way of photos. Had a wonderfully relaxing day, saw some amazing scenery, and was fortunate to be in the right place during sunset. One of the top sunset experiences that I can remember. Started...
Continuing my set of posts around the photostroll with Urban Photo Adventures (part of the Julia Dean Photo Workshops group), here’s the last of the bunch. Ironically some of my favorite photos from the trip ended up being the street art, Bamboo Charlie’s place, and the unique places and people we saw along the way....

But after downloading Instagram and Hipstamatic...
During our tour of the LA river, downtown LA, and many of the hidden photographic gems of LA we came to Bamboo Charlie’s place. We headed to the Getty Villa today for a day of shooing. Very relaxing and fun day wandering, taking photos, enjoying the weather, and loving the museum. Here’ a few from the stroll.
Congratulations to my sis, Alexie, and her fiancee Jason on their recent engagement. There was an amazing engagement celebration tonight, I was excited to see everyone, and join in the festivities. Couldn’t have topped off Christmas better. A video of the event… Alexie and Jason from Kyle Hudson on Vimeo. And here’s a few pics..
Kyle, you’ve outdone yourself once again. Thank you SO much–for this and above all for your presence at our special occasion. I love you dearly –Alexie
